STYKO rounds off Apeks roster
The Slovakian rifler will be the last piece in the puzzle for the Norwegians' profiled roster going into 2022.
The Norwegians from Apeks has finalized their new roster with the fresh signing of Martin “STYKO” Styk, the organization announced Sunday evening. The former FunPlus Phoenix player will be the only non-Scandinavian on the team sheet, which is led by the Danish in-game leader Asger "AcilioN" Larsen.
After having sealed all five players for Apeks 2.0, Head of Esports, Anders Kjær has high goals for the which is starred by Joakim "jkaem" Myrbostad and Tim "nawwk" Jonasson.
- With this team, I have one big goal, and that is reaching the Majors. We have never had a team as good as this, and we know they can do even more than they have done before. With the final addition of STYKO we are now ready to take on any challenge 2022 will bring us, Kjær said and continued:
- Martin with his experience and knowledge of the game is a master of CS. He will bring the stability and know-how that we need in this new lineup.» «STYKO will be a big resource to the team. He knows so much about the game, and he has experience from several international lineups.
STYKO is beginning to be an experienced veteran on the CS:GO scene, with the 25-year-old Slovakian having played for several big organizations in the past as HellRaisers, mousesports, Cloud9 and most recently FunPlus Phoenix. At Apeks, he will once play in an international lineup, where especially one individual has caught his eye.
-The most important points for me were definitely the vision of the project as well as the line-up that I will be working with. Despite having a lot of known and proven players around me, I’m most excited about working with our young-gun chawzyyy.
