SAW wins ESL Challenger League Season 43

The Portuguese roster took down Team Spirit in the Grand Final.

After a very long tournament which started the 25th of October, the winner of the ESL Challenger League Season 43 Europe was found last night.

The Portuguese side from SAW ended up winning the event by taking down Team Spirit in the Grand Final. This was the second time during the tournament, that SAW won against Team Spirit. SAW won $20.000 for the tournamament win, and also qualified for ESL Pro League Season 17 Conference. But because SAW already had secured a spot in the tournament, Team Spirit will take their spot from the Challenger League.

Spirit had already earlier in the lower bracket final been struck by good fortune, as their opponents Sprout had just secured their qualification for the tournament, which prompted Sprout to forfeit the match.
