The Swedish esports Organization 9INE signed an all-Polish roster back in August. Most of the players had played together before under the Anonymo banner.

Just two months into the project, 9INE can already celebrate their first big victory. Ahead of teams such as Sprout, HEET, forZe, and Bad News Eagles, 9INE won the ESL Challenger Season 42 Europe tournament. Alongside $20,000 in cash, the team also secured a spot in the ESL Pro League Season 17 Conference.

In the Grand Final, 9INE managed to turn 0-2 into a 3-2 victory against BLUEJAYS. The best player on the server was Kamil 'KEi' Pietkun, who reached 102 kills during the match.

In a stunning upset, paiN Gaming eliminated Team Liquid from the BLAST Premier Spring Showdown America with a 2-1 victory. The Brazilian squad showed great determination and skill, with Rodrigo 'biguzera' Bittencourt and Felipe 'skullz' Medeiros leading the way with great performances. paiN secured the first map Nuke after 30 rounds of play. The Brazilian roster fought back on the CT side after they lost 11-4 on the T side. paiN won Nuke 16-14. Despite losing the second map 16-14, paiN came back strong on the last map and secured their spot in the BLAST Spring Final after winning 16-12 on Mirage.

Over in Europe, BIG also had a tough semi-final match against 9INE but managed to pull off a 2-1 win. The German team showed their resilience and teamwork, with Marcel 'hyped' Köhn and Josef 'faveN' Baumann delivering standout performances. BIG will now face Cloud9 in the Grand Final and battle it out for a chance to compete in the BLAST Spring Final.

The Grand Final between Cloud9 and BIG will kick off today at 19:30 (CEST).

In the second semi-final at BLAST Spring Showdown, it is time for Poland's best team to take on Germany's ditto when 9INE and BIG go head to head on the server.

The winner of the match will advance to the Grand Final, where a spot at BLAST Spring Finals in Washington D.C. is at stake.

During the BLAST Premier Spring Showdown 2023, 9INE took upon Fnatic in the quarter-finals of the event. Two teams who recently haven't been playing their best Counter-Strike.

Despite the recent poor performance, both teams fought their absolute best to keep the semi-final dream alive. A close encounter between the two teams saw 9INE run with the victory after they managed to close out the game on Nuke. On the first map of the series 9INE dominated the fnatic side, and among all the great plays 9INE pulled off, there was one play that stands out as the #POTD. 9INE uses the run boost on Vertigo to secure two opening fags and secure the round win.

The BLAST Premier Spring Showdown Europe quarter-finals witnessed an upset as 9INE defeated fnatic and eliminated them from the event. 9INE secured a convincing victory on the two maps they had found the most success on this year, Vertigo and Nuke. 

What started as a close encounter on Vertigo ended in total domination from 9INE as they secured the map 16-6. On Overpass, Fnatic bounced back and won the map despite things getting close toward the end. Moving on to the decider 9INE dominated Fnatic on the CT side once again. A 12-3 CT saw 9INE close out the game on the T side to secure a semi-finals spot. 9INE won Nuke 16-12. 

Despite a strenuous schedule that has seen them play over 110 maps since the start of the year, 9INE has now secured their biggest victory yet and will continue to compete in the Showdown against BIG in the semi-finals.

In an intense quarter-final match at the BLAST Premier Spring Showdown, BIG Esports took down Rare Atom with a 2-1 series victory. The first map saw Rare Atom dominate on Ancient, winning 16-7. However, BIG came back strong on Vertigo, taking the map 16-9. The third and final map, Overpass, was a one-sided affair, with BIG dominating Rare Atom 16-2. It was a well-fought victory for BIG, who will now move on to face 9INE in the semi-finals.

It's the second day of the BLAST Premier Spring Showdown 2023 Europe. Four teams will be fighting for their chance to advance to the Semi-finals. BIG will face Rare Atom and Fnatic is taking upon the Polish roster 9INE. The two winners from each match will face each other in the Semi-finals.

9INE’s Olek “hades” Miskiewicz has made his way to our #POTD after he pulled off an impressive 1v4 clutch on Nuke during a match between 9INE and Aurora. The situation seemed dire for hades as he found himself alone against four of Aurora’s players with the bomb in his possession. With the odds stacked against him, hades made the bold decision to head towards B-side of the map. His first priority was to plant the bomb without any interruption from the opposing team.

He managed to get into position and plant the bomb with ease, but the real challenge laid ahead. hades was now facing four enemies who were determined to prevent him from winning the round. By using his game sense and positioning to his advantage, hades patiently waited for the Aurora players to make the first move, and when they did, he struck with deadly precision.

One by one, hades picked off the Aurora players, taking advantage of their big mistake to not swamp him all together. His accuracy and quick reflexes were on full display as he landed precise headshots and outmaneuvered his opponents.

9INE and HONORIS made their statement yesterday after a flawless qualifier for the two Polish teams. 

During the IEM Brazil 2023 Europe Open Qualifier 2, both 9INE and HONORIS went 3-0 to complete their qualifier. The two polish teams will now move on to the closed qualifier where the competition will get even tougher. 

On the way to the closed qualifier, 9INE played again BLINK, Copenhagen Flames, and SINNERS. The last mentioned played 9INE in a winner advances to the Closed Qualifier. 9NINE took down all three opponents in a dominant fashion.  

HONORIS also had a great run yesterday when they took down the likes of Lazer Cats, Falcons, and VOYVODA in their last match. With Kamil 'reiko' Cegiełko playing light out in their final match against the Bulgarian roster VOYVODA, the polish team is now ready to compete against top teams in the closed qualifier.

In a recent match against Illuminar, Polish CS:GO player Olek “hades” Miskiewicz stepped up to secure a crucial Pistol round win for his team with a stunning Ace. In the second pistol round on Anubis, hades flawlessly took down all the enemies with a pistol in his hands, securing the round for his team and setting the tone for the rest of the match.

hades, known for his skills as a Sniper, once again demonstrated his versatility and adaptability as a dual threat player. The Pistol Ace showcased his quick reflexes, precise aim, and ability to deliver important plays under pressure, earning him high praise from fans and the CS:GO community.

The highly expected transfer of Aleksander "hades" Miskiewicz joining 9INE is now official. After several rumors and hints, the former ENCE player has been confirmed as the team’s new AWPer going into the 2023 season.

The profiled Pole is set to link up with four of his countrymen on the Swedish-owned team that consists of Goofy, Kei, Kylar and the in-game leader mynio. hades’ predecessor was Grzegorz "SZPERO" Dziamałek who were benched in December last year.

hades came through the ranks of Polish Counter-Strike and made himself known in 2021 while playing for Wisla Krakow. Alongside Goofy and mynio his 9INE teammates, the strong sniper showed a promising level over a longer period of time, which eventually made ENCE acquire him.

His time at ENCE came to a close after nearly a year representing the Finnish organization as he was replaced by the Spaniard Alvaro "SunPayus" Garcia in August.

The 31-year-old Polish AWPer Grzegorz "SZPERO" Dziamałek is now a free agent after 9INE announced on Twitter that they have released the AWPer from all duties. The AWPer only played under the 9ine for just four months.

Before joining 9INE, SZPERO played three years for Wisla Krakow, a Polish team that no longer exists. For the past three months, he averages 0.98 Rating / 0.63 KPR / 0.93 Impact / 63.7 ADR / 67.7% KAST. 

What the future looks like for the 31-year-old is yet to be decided, for now, SZPERO is a free agent looking for a new team.
