The PGL Copenhagen Major 2024

The first Major in the new iteration of Counter-Strike is right around the corner. From March 17th, the best teams in the world will fight for the $500,000 first prize in Copenhagen, which will host their first Counter-Strike Major in history.

Prize pool: $1,250,000
The tournament will be divided into three different stages:
Opening stage:
16 teams will fight for eight tickets to the elimination stage in a Team Swiss System Format.

Elimination stage:
The eight teams from the opening stage will join eight already qualified teams in the elimination stage. The eight teams already qualified have been seeded based on their placement on Valve’s ranking, which will be updated for the PGL Copenhagen Major after the 4th of March. The format will be the same as in the opening stage.
