NIP reveal their first roster change after tough start to 2024
The now-former Young Ninjas profile is set to join the big boys on the main team.
The Swedes from NIP have revealed the first piece of the puzzle in the rebuild of their roster, promoting Max “maxster” Jansson to the main team.
The roster change comes just over a month after the iconic organization decided to bench Kristian "k0nfig" Wienecke, Patrick "es3tag" Hansen and Daniil "headtr1ck" Valitov, following a catastrophic RMR campaign.
"An obvious choice"
NIP head coach Richard “Xizt” Landström has stated the following on the arrival of maxster:
- Happy to have maxster on board! He has shown great work ethic during his time in Young Ninjas, and together with his skill set, it was an obvious choice for us to bring him onto the main team. He is an active rifler that will fit perfectly into the team composition.
The 19-year-old Max "maxster" Jansson has been a super-strong player for Young Ninjas and has already played officials for NIP as a stand-in at BLAST Premier Spring Showdown and CS Asia Championships 2023. However, now maxster can call himself a full-blown member of the team.
maxster is set to join a roster that currently includes Alejandro “alex” Masanet and Frederik “REZ” Sterner.
