NIP completes its roster with the signing of 22-year-old rifler
The iconic team now possess a Swedish core with the arrival of Isak "isak" Fahlén from GamerLegion.
Ninjas in Pyjamas has completed its roster with the signing of 22-year-old Isak "isak" Fahlén from GamerLegion. That means the Swedish organization now once again can present a five-man lineup, following a lengthy roster overhaul.
isak joins the Alejandro “alex” Masanet-led squad after having been a key member for GamerLegion in more than three years.
NIP head coach, Richard "Xizt" Landström, is a happy man with the signing of isak, who he calls an “unsung hero”.
- Isak embodies the essence of team play: he's the unsung hero who elevates the performance of his teammates. Isak's consistent performance under pressure, posting solid stats in the least flashy role, underscores his reliability. Despite his youth, Isak's potential for growth within our setup is promising and I think he'll quickly become a crucial asset, Xizt states.
A brick in a major rebuilding
The addition of isak marks just a small part of an extensive makeover in NIP’s CS division, following their miserable qualification campaign for the Copenhagen Major.
Four changes in the setup have now been made by the Swedish organization. Firstly, they secured the services of their mastermind and head coach, Richard "Xizt" Landström, fresh from a successful tenure at Heroic.
Following this, they bolstered their roster with young, promising talent in Artem "r1nkle" Moroz and Max "maxster" Jansson, the latter being promoted from their academy team. And finally, isak completes the puzzle as the latest addition.
According to NIP, the revamped roster is set to hit the ground running with immediate practice sessions, with isak poised to make his debut next week at RES Regional Series 4.
