NA team could miss out on the Major due to player oversleeping

This will for sure be a tough one to digest for Triumph if this is going to be decisive for their Major chances.

The very best CS:GO teams from the North American region are right now fighting against each other in the important Major qualifier at IEM Fall. The ongoing RMR event is the last chance for teams to gather vital points for the PGL Major later this month.

For many players and teams, the possibility of attending a Major championship would be one of their biggest dreams and achievements, and something the majority would sacrifice nearly everything for – However, one particular individual looks to have some problems with his priorities.

Yesterday at IEM Fall NA, Triumph and Evil Geniuses was set to play at 6 PM (EST). There was only one problem - Triumph’s Jack "xCeeD" Holiman were nowhere to be found on the server, at the time of kick-off. The reason proved out to be that xCeeD was sleeping, and with the team already having used their only substitution in Wesley "wiz" Harris, it meant that EG was handed a 1-0 forfeit win.

Something that certainly not helped and improved Triumph’s chances for making the playoff and therefore also the PGL Major. Because Triumph went into IEM Fall with 0 RMR points in the bank, which means they have to secure at least a 5th place at the event.

Yesterday’s results have set Triumph at 2-2 with 6 points in the group and their two challengers in GODSENT on 9 points and Evil Geniuses on 6 points. Everything will be determined tonight at 01.30 (CET) when Triumph take on GODSENT and EG meeting FURIA.
