MIBR and Movistar Riders takes opening wins at ESL Challenger Valencia
MIBR had to work hard, while Movistar Riders destroyed their opponents.
ESL Challenger Valencia was kicked off Friday with MIBR taking on Rare Atom from China. On Overpass MIBR won 16-12 in a match, where the Brazilians at times looked shaky. A good T-side in the second half was enough though to secure the expected victory.
The next two teams in the mix were Hummer Esports and Movistar Riders. Unfortunately, there was only one team the server during the match. Movistar Riders went wild during the first half winning ALL 15 rounds with Alejandro "ALEX" Masanet Candela leading the assault going 26-6 during the 15 rounds! The Spaniards won the pistol round in the second half to complete the humiliation of their Brazilian counterparts. A perfect start for the roster on home turf.
