HEET responds to claims about them owing €100,000 to their players

Unpaid salary and organizations owing money to their players is unfortunately not a rare sight in esports.

Over the weekend, the popular streamer Sébastien "KRL" Perez could report another incident stating that the Belgian organization HEET owes €100,000 to two of their players.

Following KRL’s uncovering, HEET went out and confirmed that they are owing money to Audric "JACKZ" Jug and Alexandre "bodyy" Pianaro through a statement by their COO Jasur “Jazz” Avizov.

- I just wanted to talk to you about the talks on Twitter regarding us owing players money. Yes, we do owe Jackz his buyout. Yes, we do owe Alex part of the salary. But it doesn't mean that players are not getting any salary since we sign them. The struggle we are having are bigger amounts, Avizov wrote.

"Not trying to scam or steal money"

JACKZ allegedly paid his own buyout which HEET afterwards were meant to pay back, while the problem with bodyy is due to some changes with his back reportedly. But they are neither scamming nor trying to steal from the players, Jazz further explains.

- We did some mistakes, which hit us financially really hard. But it doesn't mean that we are trying to steal from players or scam them. We are searching for solutions and ways to get the budget as soon as we can to pay back players. It is not like we are sitting on a pile of gold and not letting anyone touch it. We were always about the players, and I hope players know that.

We have reached out to Jasur “Jazz” Avizov for a confirmation on the figure (€100,000) that KRL states HEET owes the players. However, he hasn't replied at the time of publication.
