Bleh: A Major Grand Final should be a Bo5 series
We caught up with analyst Sudhen "Bleh" Wahengbam before the Grand Final in Copenhagen.
The CS2 Major Grand Final is about to begin in Copenhagen, where FaZe and NAVI will fight for the chance to write their names in the history books as the inaugural winners of the first CS2 Major in history.
It’s also the first Major since Valve changed the format of the matches with fewer rounds to shorten the match time. A fact that could see tonight’s final be over in a minute if one of the teams manages to dominate the other.
- Earlier on bo5’s were a little too time-consuming if it got to map four or five, but with MR12 coming in the games are being over a little bit shorter, I feel at least for a Major, not all the events, but at least for a Major a bo5 is absolutely what I would like to see being changed the next time, Sudhen "Bleh" Wahengbam replied to our question about whether the Grand Finals in Major should be best-of-threes or best-of-fives.
You can also hear thoughts about tonight’s Final between NAVI and FaZe, and how the Indian analyst is looking forward to the Major in Shanghai at the end of the year, where Asian Counter-Strike will get one more spot at the Major.
