BIG Academy forfeits spot at ESL Pro League Season 17 Conference
Due to the ineligibility of their senior team already qualified for Pro League, BIG Academy will hand over their spot to Sprout.

Despite winning the ESL Meisterschaft BIG Academy will not be able to participate in the upcoming ESL Pro League Season 17 Conference League. BIG Academy won the Grand Final against Sprout but is ineligible to play at the ESL event due to BIG's status as a partnership team in the Pro League.
The spot will instead go to Sprout, who played in the Grand Final in the German Championships with two German stand-ins in order to be able to compete. This will however be the last time that Sprout takes part in the ESL Meisterschaft after having switched to an International lineup.
In Asia, Lynn Vision qualified after a 3-2 victory in the Grand Final against IHC.
ESL Pro League Season 17 Conference is set to start the 21st of February on LAN in Malta.
