Astralis Talent continues rebuild with two new signings
"JBOEN" and "kiR" are the two new names at Astralis Talent
Professional CS:GO has evolved quite a bit throughout the years. Nowadays, an academy division or a so-called talent team is not unusual for the big CS:GO organizations across the world. When thinking about the biggest CS:GO organization, I am sure most of us will think of the name Astralis. The academy division of Astralis is called Astralis Talent and is currently rebuilding after having lost three of its players recently. Having just joined Astralis Talent as the team's new Head Coach is "alexsomfan", illustrating a new focus on the academy division of the Danish organization.
Now joining the new-look Astralis Talent are the two youngsters in Jason "JBOEN" Boe Nielsen and Andreas "kiR" Kirstein. The latter is 23 years old and unusually "old" for a so-called Talent team. However, the experience of "kiR" is much needed if you ask the newly joined Head Coach:
"On the team side, we must build a roster with the right mix of young talent with great potential and experience that can be developed further within our framework."
He continues by saying that both players offer something unique and needed at the Astralis Talent roster:
"Therefore, it is both gratifying and important that we can already put a tick next to two names from the top of the list. While JBOEN is undoubtedly a huge talent who needs time to develop, kiR comes with much more experience. However, kiR also has the potential for much more and I see a future, really skilled in-game leader in him."
