AGO provide answer to stream-sniping allegations
The Polish team is accused of violating the official ruleset at ESL Polish Championship Spring.
It looks like the Polish scene, and for that matter CS:GO in general, has run into a rather controversial and disputed situation concerning the top Polish team of AGO. The newly crowned ESL Polish Championship Spring champions were stripped of the title, owing to an ESIC and ESL Polska-joined investigation concerning an alleged stream-sniping incident.
- We will take all available legal steps not only in terms of the appeal path but also to protect the good name of our organization.
After receiving a written decision of ESL Polska... we will start the appeal procedure to ESIC. Until then, our organization will not provide any additional comments. We consider the current position of ESL Polska to be fundamentally inconsistent with the spirit of sport and contrary to the DNA of x-kom AGO - The Poles states.
AGO further explains the exact situation, where a man inside the player-room streamed the match between AGO and HONORIS.
- The representative of x-kom AGO had a stream from the final match in sight, but he was not in direct contact with the team - this unintentional incident was not intended and was not the reason for any advantage for the winning team and did not affect the final result, which is clearly confirmed by the audiovisual materials that we provided to ESL Polska as part of full cooperation.
